Antarctic running kit
Runbuk recommends a moisture-wicking base layer, insulating midlayer and wind shell for the upper body, with base and shell layers for the legs. Its checklist includes face and head protection, gloves and mittens, wool socks, trail shoes and eye protection. Pack spare dry layers, gloves and socks.
The other six races
Prepare separate labeled bags for each race, with tested clothing for warm, humid, sunny and cooler conditions. The guide recommends at least two pairs of road shoes in addition to Antarctic trail shoes. Keep a warm layer and dry change accessible on the aircraft.
The final list
Registered participants receive the detailed packing checklist and forecast updates. Brand examples on the public page are suggestions, not compulsory purchases.
