Preparation

Separate running kit from camp clothing

Pack for active running and quieter time in Antarctica as two different needs.

While running

The source checklist combines base layers, fleece insulation and wind protection, plus protection for the head, hands, feet and eyes. It recommends spare dry clothing and trail shoes already tested with the intended socks.

Around camp

Runbuk separately lists windproof trousers, an insulated down jacket and insulated boots for non-running time. Suitable rental items may be available through the logistics provider in Punta Arenas; registered participants receive a rental form.

Check your fit

Practice wearing the complete kit and adjusting ventilation before travel. The organizer’s final clothing check and expedition checklist should guide your packing; buying a particular brand is not required.

Your final participant instructions and approved event terms take priority. Check your dashboard for organizer updates.
