Who applies
The FAQ asks for accomplished golfers with competitive or substantial playing experience and a current or recently lapsed handicap. The event welcomes amateurs and professionals, but is not described as beginner entry. Applications are reviewed.
Competition format
The published format is stroke play over 18 holes, using a six-hole course three times. All players use the same tees; the FAQ specifies no handicap adjustment. Players confirm and sign paper scorecards.
Local conditions
Ice, meltwater and weather require local rules. The FAQ allows delay or a shortened official round if necessary and describes a limited-hole sudden-death playoff for ties. Final competition instructions come from the organizer.
